Nan, January 10th, 2025 – RMA Group participated in the launch of the Mobile Stroke Unit Royal Honor Project, celebrating His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday, marking his third cycle. The event was attended by Professor Emeritus Dr. Kasem Wattanachai, Privy Councillor, and Mr. Prasert Chantrarungthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, along with key officials.
RMA Automotive, a division of RMA Group, developed and built the Mobile Stroke Units, which will be deployed across 21 Somdej Phra Yupparat Hospitals nationwide. Nan’s hospital is the pilot site for the project. These units aim to address imbalances in stroke care, particularly in rural areas, by providing timely treatment through CT scanners, telemedicine systems, and essential medical equipment. The integration of 5G technology ensures faster diagnosis and treatment.
