Agreement establishes a framework for RMA Automotive to supply 4×4 conversion kits for Ford Transit vehicles for the Argentine market.
Bangkok, Thailand August 15th, 2026 — RMA Automotive, part of RMA Group, has signed a framework agreement with Argentina-based Igarreta SACI for the supply of 4×4 conversion kits for Ford Transit vehicles for the Argentine market.

The agreement was signed by Daren Ambrose and Sebastián Centeno, Head of Business Development, Igarreta SACI, during a visit by an Igarreta SACI delegation to RMA Automotive in Thailand from 28 July to 3 August 2026. The visit brought together the companies’ commercial and technical teams to advance their cooperation and provide Igarreta personnel with direct experience of RMA Automotive’s vehicle engineering and modification capabilities.
Under the framework agreement, RMA Automotive will supply 4×4 conversion kits designed to enable Ford Transit vehicles to be adapted for four-wheel-drive applications in Argentina. The cooperation combines RMA Automotive’s experience in vehicle engineering and specialist mobility solutions with Igarreta SACI’s automotive operations and market presence in Argentina.
The programme reflects RMA Automotive’s broader approach to supporting automotive partners internationally through engineered vehicle solutions that can be deployed and supported in individual markets. RMA Automotive can supply Ford Transit vehicles with 4×4 conversions as completely built units (CBUs) to fleet customers through its modification centres in Thailand, the UAE, and Türkiye.
Where a strong business case exists, RMA Automotive may also work with selected local assembly partners. These partnerships are evaluated based on market potential, regulatory requirements, and the partner’s technical capabilities and infrastructure, including its ability to install RMA Automotive’s 4×4 conversion kits in accordance with the company’s required quality standards.
During the week-long visit, the Igarreta delegation participated in an extensive vehicle evaluation programme in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. This gave the team direct experience of a range of vehicles and technologies developed, modified, or supported by RMA Automotive.
Vehicles demonstrated during the programme included a Ford Transit equipped with a 4×4 system, a utility task vehicle (UTV), a Ford Ranger Super Duty, and a Ford Ranger equipped with suspension upgrades. Testing in Kanchanaburi allowed the teams to evaluate the vehicles across real-world driving conditions while exchanging technical knowledge on vehicle performance, engineering, and applications.
The visit also included a train-the-trainer programme for Igarreta’s technical personnel. Members of the Igarreta technical team completed the training and received certification, helping establish the technical knowledge required to support future implementation and knowledge transfer in Argentina.
Throughout the visit, the Igarreta SACI delegation worked closely with RMA Automotive’s engineering and technical teams on both the 4×4 conversion programme and the wider range of specialist vehicle solutions demonstrated in Kanchanaburi.
The framework agreement further extends RMA Automotive’s international engineering activities and its work with automotive partners to deliver vehicle conversion and mobility solutions for markets around the world.
