RMA Energy and Minor Group Signing Contract Ceremony for Solar Projects

Bangkok, March 28th, 2025 – RMA Energy, a member of RMA Group is delighted to announce its official partnership with Minor Group to provide solar installation services for hotel, resort and shopping mall entities under the Minor Group umbrella. This collaboration marks a significant step toward sustainable energy solutions in the hospitality industry, with solar projects set to be implemented across multiple cities in Thailand. RMA Energy is an innovative developer and operator of solar power generation projects and energy efficiency programs offering Solar Power Purchase Agreements (Solar PPA), Procurement and Construction (Solar EPC), as well as Energy Efficiency solutions for customers and partners in Thailand.

Thaweesak Boonyong (Kae) – Head of RMA Energy, Ivan Sylvester Keogh – CEO of Comin Asia, Paul Yoo – Senior Vice President and Vijay Jetty – Group Director of Engineering from Minor Group gathered at Minor Group’s officer, Bangkok for the signing ceremony to celebrate this new partnership.

As part of this initiative, RMA Energy will oversee the development, investment, site surveys, feasibility studies, engineering designed by Comin Asia, construction, installation, and commissioning of the solar projects. Additionally, RMA Energy will provide long-term operation and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years under power purchase agreements (PPAs).

The first phase of the partnership includes the installation of nine solar rooftop projects with a total capacity of approximately 3,000 kWp. These installations will be deployed at renowned properties, including:

  • Anantara Hua Hin Bangkok
  • Avani & Royal Garden Plaza Chonburi
  • Anantara Bophut Surat Thani
  • Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club Surat Thani
  • Avani+ Khao Lak Resort Phang Nga
  • Four Seasons Koh Samui, Surat Thani
  • Four Seasons Chiang Mai
